Na lokalitetima prapora na Banskom brdu u Baranji istraživanja stabilnih izotopa kisika i ugljika pokazala su znatne promjene paleotemperatura u mlađem pleistocenu.  AGS temperatura bila je 13,24°C ili 9,457°C, ovisno o primijenjenoj formuli izračuna. Općenito je klima bila znatno hladnija nego danas, a u vegetaciji je prevladavala skupina C3.
