The Croatian Organization of the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering Alumni (AMAC-RGNF), alongside the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering participated as a co-organizer of the PhD Students' Day at the Faculty on June 30, 2017. The Alumni Organization also participated in the organization of the round table entitled “How can scientific research help Croatian business?“
As the co-organizer of the PhD Students' Day, the introductory speech was given by the president of the AMAC-RGNF, Dragutin Domitrović. Together with the Vice dean for science and international cooperation Sibila Borojević Šoštarić, Mr. Domitrović announced presentations of selected PhD topics, PhD theses rewarded at innovation fairs and three minute poster presentations which were to be ranked by the Committee for work evaluation at the end of the event.
The coordinator of the panel discussion at the round table was the President of AMAC-RGNF, Mr. Dragutin Domitrović, and the panel participants were Petar Hrženjak, Mining representative, Lilit Cota, representative of Geology related business, Želimir Pekaš, representative of Geological Engineering related business, Jerko Jelić Balta, representative of Petroleum Engineering related business and Sibila Borojević Šoštarić, Vice dean for science and international cooperation of the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering.
