Chemical Laboratory

Chemical Laboratory

Laboratory Activities

The purpose of this laboratory is mainly to conduct laboratory practices from mandatory and elective courses in undergraduate and graduate studies (Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry and Analytics, Applied Environmental Analytics, Selected Chapters in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemistry and Water Treatment), laboratory tests as part of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral theses, and to a lesser extent scientific research tests. In the laboratory, students learn and master the skills of working in a chemical laboratory, acquire basic practical knowledge in the fields of general and inorganic chemistry, organic, physical and analytical chemistry.

The laboratory is equipped with adequate cabinets for the storage and preservation of chemicals in accordance with current legal regulations, and is continuously supplemented with equipment and supplies for performing laboratory exercises and replacing environmentally unacceptable equipment with legally recommended equipment. The long-term goal is to equip the laboratory with modern laboratory equipment, introduce new methods and tests in accordance with the criteria and needs of new study programs.

The laboratory is mainly used for performing laboratory exercises from undergraduate and graduate courses, and all experiments are carried out in accordance with the current legal regulations related to working with chemicals and protection when working with them:
