Students' rowing club of the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petro¬leum Engineering was founded on October 1, 2001 and currently has over 25 active members.
In the academic year 2016/2017, our members participated in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture’s regatta and won fifth place in strong competition. There was a change of generations at the club and we lost a few of our key rowers. However, the rest of us are preparing for the 2017/2018 season. Thanks to our hard work, we inspired interest among the “freshmen” population and many of them joined our ranks. Currently, we not only have a good first team but also an adequate second team and we are particularly proud of forming a first ladies’ eight in more than ten years. The President of the rowing club is Bruno Mravlja.
